Our journey into the world of scent began in 2019 with the creation of our own home fragrance brand, NOA. As we evolved and grew in the industry we recognised an opportunity to expand our reach and expertise into the world of private and white label products. In 2022, we decided to establish a dedicated brand for this with aims to transform the landscape of contract manufacturing, ensuring accessibility for brands of all shapes and sizes. Our commitment to our values is reflected through our offering and products and we are proud to offer hand poured, consciously created home fragrance products, all of which have been hand poured with love in our Manchester studio. We also have some of the lowest MOQ’s in the market and an array of bestselling, award winning blends that customers love. 

why we started.

Founded in the summer of 2022, Own emerged in response to the observed gap in the contract manufacturing industry, particularly for small independent brands seeking UK-made products instead of outsourcing to China. Recognizing the financial challenges and commitment associated with large quantities in contract manufacturing and private label ventures, Own was established to cater to the needs of small business owners. Having experienced the hurdles firsthand, our founder understands the financial constraints and risks involved in launching products on a large scale.

Candle making demands years of perfection, from fitting wicks into jars to exhaustive safety testing, insurance, and substantial investments in equipment and materials. Own aims to simplify this process by offering all the necessary equipment and expertise for creating bespoke and luxurious products, requiring minimal investment and research on your part. Whether purchasing Own products for personal use or business, you can rest assured that they are sustainably sourced, hand-poured, and of the highest quality, eliminating the need for extensive equipment, material investments, or years of learning the craft.

Since our launch in 2022, we take pride in assisting remarkable brands and individuals in expanding their fragrance product lines and are proud to offer some of the lowest minimum order quantities (MOQ) across white and private label fragrances in the UK. All our products, crafted from soy wax and free from synthetic scent boosters and enhancers, undergo meticulous hand-pouring, wicking, blending, and labelling processes at our Manchester studio.

We take pride in offering some of the lowest minimum order quantities (MOQ) in comparison to our competitors in the UK. Our most exclusive package, featuring custom-branded products designed by us, comes with remarkably low order quantities starting at just 30 pieces per scent. All our packages come with the added advantage of bulk discounts, ensuring that the more you purchase, the more you save. Even with lower pack quantities, we guarantee an excellent mark-up price, allowing you to recoup at least the cost of the product for each sale based on our recommended retail prices (RRP). The core motivation behind the establishment of Own was to provide smaller startups and independent companies with the opportunity to acquire bespoke products without the burden of meeting high minimum order quantities imposed by many contract label manufacturers. Every one of our products is hand-poured, with love and in house - no matter the size or scale of the project.

Regardless of the quantity you require, we can manage orders ranging from small (50-100 pieces) to large-scale (5,000-10,000 pieces), drawing from our experience in handling orders of various sizes for our sister company, NOA. During peak candle season, we've successfully poured up to 9,600 candles in a month, and our production capacity allows for even higher quantities if needed.
